Traditional style fence that looks the same from both sides. This particular style seems to hold up the best since there are two layers or boards and has more nails than other styles. These boards sit on top of a kick board that is pressure treated so it is off the ground which can help prevent rotting of the boards.
This is another traditional style that looks the same on either side. This style is similar to the board on board since it sits on top of a pressure treated kickboard as well. The only difference is that the boards are spaced out differently where one end overlaps another board and the next board overlaps the previous.
This is more an old school look where the framing is showing on one side and the boards on the other. We can use either flat top boards or dog ear style boards. There is typically no kickboard but, one can be added like below. There are a few different styles of nail-on just let use know your preference.
If you want to go for a modern look you can do a horizontal style. This where we use 6 inch A grade clear redwood which is sleek to match the new styles of today. The boards are nailed on one side and the framing is exposed on the other making it a good choice for a front facing fence.
There are quite a few different types of lattice but, the most requested is the diagonal followed by the diagonal triple lattice. There is also square lattice and square triple lattice that is popular. We can also do piano key style.
This is the typical American dream white picket fence usually in the front yard of homes. The pickets are nailed on one side and the backside shows the framing.
The most common style of gates we do are single gates with either a flat top or an arched top. We can also do double gates and gates with lattice on top.
Other types of fencing that we have done before are deer fencing, also called wood and wire. With deer fencing we frame the fence with posts and a top, middle and bottom 2 by 4 rail, then nail/staple the wire to it. We have also done rough split rail where it is a two rail fence consisting of rough cedar log looking posts and cross beams. There is also a grape stake style where it is very similar to a nail on but, the boards used are cedar and are about 2-3 inches wide instead of 6-8 inches.
Just ask us and we can see what we can do to make the custom fence you're looking for.
