Since 1987, we’ve specialized in residential fence installation, fence replacement, and fence repair, building a reputation for quality craftsmanship, reliability, and honest service.
Founded by Bay Area native Mike Hampel, Sturdy Fence was one of the original companies focused on residential fencing in the region. Mike has always taken pride in serving his local community and helping homeowners improve the privacy, security, and appearance of their homes.
As Mike begins stepping back from day-to-day operations, the company continues forward with the addition of Brian, a C-13 licensed fencing contractor who shares the same commitment to quality workmanship and customer care. Together, we’re continuing the trusted service Sturdy Fence has provided for decades.
We proudly serve homeowners in San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Santa Clara, and nearby communities. Many of our crew members have been with us for years, bringing consistency, experience, and attention to detail to every project—from small fence repairs to complete redwood fence replacements.
